I'm HOME!!!
Jul. 27th, 2003 07:08 amHey everyone!
I'm home!
Flew in to Boston yesterday at 4PM and got through customs/immigration/the whole schmear without any difficulties. And
nandamai, no I didn't declare 400 dollars worth of books. Only about $100 (well, *some* of them had been gifts to me... :) ). It was the $180 of CD's that got me. And actually, now that I'm thinking of it, it was actually closer to $260... Yikes!
But I had a fabulous time. Didn't sleep so well last night. It is SOOO hot here in New Hampshire as compared to Ireland (like 30+ degrees hotter and really humid). Plus I woke up in the middle of the night and didn't know where I was or how to get to the bathroom! By the time I managed that I was fully awake. And, of course, my poor cat is terribly afraid that I might take off again or disappear in the middle of the night, so she needed to check on me frequently. She hasn't done her normal "I'm angry at you so I'm going to sit on your feet and totally ignore you" thing. She follows me everywhere and prefers to be within touching distance or actually touching me. (Although she seems to have graduated to "guarding me" from the doorway at the moment.
I have somthing like 10 rolls of film to develop and laundry to do and all that fun stuff, but I'm probably instead going to, yes, you guessed it... Have a Stargate marathon to catch up on all the episodes I missed while I was gone. :)
Oh, and nap.
Yes, I think nappage a little later on will be a very good thing! (And my cat will be sooooo happy! She loves it when I nap!)
All right, more later!
