maisfeekaI am sick. Still. Or again. Or still.
I don't know which and I don't really care except to be really, really massively annoyed by it. After 3 WEEKS of no voice, I finally was sounding normal again last Thursday and now it is pretty much gone again. I started feeling a little tired and crummy late Friday night/Saturday AM, but figured it was just being up late for New Year's and still being a bit wiped from the last cold. The stuffy nose hadn't really gone away, but I was thinking maybe it was just 'cause the air's dry in the house, so it's a bit more dusty than usual. But as of Monday afternoon the cough was back as well and I started running a bit of a fever that night. Today my voice started to go and I'm feeling horrendously miserable.
God, I'm tired of this.
Sigh.
ETA: The fact that I've just started reading The Stand for the first time is also freaking me out. In my fever dreams last night I kept hearing, "See, it's just like in the book! You're sick and then it looks like you're getting better and then *wham* it comes back and you die!"
No, I'm not *that* sick by any bizarre stretch, but it is creepy to read that book when you've got a bad cold! ;)
