Coming Down to the Wire

As some of you know I'm getting ready to go to Ireland for about 3 and a half weeks.

Today is Sunday.

I leave Wednesday.

I am soooo running out of time!

Actually, I think I'm doing pretty well, overall. I have laundry to do (which I think I'll try to at least get started today, though I'm feeling terribly non-motivated), some research to do (which I'll work on tomorrow), and then the actual *packing*-packing (as opposed to the collecting everything and getting it *ready* to be packed-packing.)

Oh. And the ever-present "trying-not-to-panic". That's the biggie.

I have been rather successful in fighting it off in part by doing a lot of Stargating. :) I like to Stargate. I even (sigh) have this plot bunny starting to run around in my head which I am trying desperately to ignore. (You! Go away right now, do you hear me?!)

Geez, how am I going to manage 3 and a half weeks without Stargate? Yes, yes, I managed 6 years quite nicely up till a month or two ago when a certain *nameless* person (nandamai) started doing this, "Oh, there's the story y'all need to read - of course, it's SG-1, but it's really good!" And then writing her *own* really, really good SG-1 fics.

And now I'm addicted.

And about to have to go almost a month without a fix!

Sigh... ;)
