Ya know, if my body would just cut me a *little* break...
Yes, I have the terrible chest and head cold that's been going around. I've had it since Thursday, so I am considerably less miserable today (and being a good girl and having lots of chicken soup and napping yesterday and today has certainly helped), but still... To sleep for more than an hour without waking myself up coughing would be so nice.
And, of course, I did it to myself. I said, on Monday, to my nurse practitioner, that it's really odd that I haven't been sick in over 2 years - not *really* sick - not since I was diagnosed with the rheumatoid arthritis. So by Wednesday when I was feeling sniffly and Thursday when it was full-fledged ugly... I did it to myself!
Anyhow, other than that I am doing very well - still pretty tired by the end of the day, but the doctor says that's normal and I may feel that way for another month or so. I have no more of the stomach pain and nasties and -well, until this nasty cold! - I had actually started sleeping all the way through the night. Such a joy!

poohmusings and suzvoy, who are very, very sweet people. I am going to attempt to do the whole Christmas card thing, but they may not actually arrive anywhere before Christmas at the rate I'm going!
