Summer "Vacation"
Jun. 25th, 2005 02:49 pmReally enjoyed my first few days of vacation. Did pretty much nothing at all on Thursday. Friday did platelets and went to see Batman Begins then came home to be a slug. Today has been very mellow as well.
It's funny how fast I start to lose time when I'm not at work. I can't remember what day it is, hours slip away like water through my fingertips... It's just eerie!
For example, just a little while ago I came downstairs to check my email and LJ before heading back upstairs to lounge in bed while watching a little La Femme Nikita. Of course, just checking the clock a few minutes ago I discover that I wandered down at 9:30 and it's now almost 3!! Not that I've been on the computer all this time. I put the TV on to watch a little TV while I made tea and some breakfast (neither of which I actually *did*), then wandered around the house giving thanks that I've seen no ants since I sprayed last Saturday night (though now I've probably jinxed myself), eventually made some nachos (well, it was 1PM somehow) watched a little more "Blow Out" - Jonathan draws me in somehow and I couldn't say why because he's someone I would probably not want anywhere near my life most of the time, but then he's sweet and kind and vulnerable and... Oy.
So, here I am, still no tea and no La Femme Nikita. But, no worries, I have nowhere to be until my friend picks me up to go to Cu Na Mara tomorrow afternoon. :)
Oh yes, and we have a production meeting, for the pro show I'm stage-managing, Monday about an hour before our first rehearsal. I can't miss this one the way I did the last one 'cause it's actually here in my house. (I missed the last one because I was wandering around totally lost in Lowell for over and hour and could not find the meeting place - doesn't inspire much confidence in the crew, eh?)
Anyhow... 2 weeks of intensive night rehearsals, 2 show weekends and I'm done. Should be a fun show!
