Good Gods!

I swear, could my poor family catch a break for once! My sister #2 had - for the first time in ages - done something nice for herself. She got Red Sox tickets for tonight's game and was bringing sister #4 along. My mom nad I were trading off babysitting duties for the three kids (I had the 6:00 to midnight or 1 shift.) I got there early, 'cause mom wanted me to come have dinner with them,and found that their dog (Sister #2 and the kid's dog) had been hit by a car. So, no baseball game, lots of worries and then she had to go sit with the dog while they put it to sleep. Tomorrow she has to find a way to explain to the kids. Sometimes life really sucks.
